VB Consulting Group, LLC a training and technical assistance consulting firm, has been serving clients since 1989 providing quality training, technical assistance, executive coaching, and capacity building for nonprofits, early care and education programs, and faith and community based organizations.
The talented TEAM at VB Consulting Group has a combined 40 years of experience delivering quality training and technical assistance to School Districts, the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services, the Georgia Department of Health, Head Start programs and individuals.
In 2018, VB Consulting Group added a Child Protection Unit to their list of offering. The goal of the Child Protection Unit is to raise the consciousness of the community in the protection of children.
Owner/Lead Consultant
Virginia Baker-Jeffcoat, a transformational leader, has over 30 years of direct experience working with children, families and communities. Her diversified expertise in family engagement, child maltreatment, program development/management, career coaching and non-profit capacity building make her a sought after facilitator/speaker statewide and nationally.
Virginia graduated from West Georgia College with a Master’s of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling. She is an Internationally Certified Prevention Specialist, an advanced Georgia-approved trainer for Early Childhood Educators, a Strengthening Families Georgia Trainer, a Connections Matter (trauma-informed care) Facilitator and a certified Human Resource Professional (SHRM-CP).
Virginia loves giving back to her community. She currently serves as the Board Chair for the DeKalb Initiative for Children and Families, a member of the Friends of the Wesley Chapel-William C. Brown Library and a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
